Built by author and retired Emeritus Professor of History at Glasgow Caledonian University, Elaine McFarland who is from Ardrossan. One of the Scottish Maritime Museums newest volunteers, Elaine will be helping us with research, the library and model conservation. The Sottish Maritime Museum is extremly grateful to Elaine for donating this model particularly as it is one of the most visual vessels in the Scottish Maritime Museum collection.
