The Raith Burn connects to the Calder River near Muirshiel Country Park, transporting runoff from Clyde Muirshiel's highest peaks including Misty Law and Hill of Stake.

Evidence of Dog Violet (Viola riviniana) and Primrose (Primula vulgaris) in the springtime suggests this was once the site of an ancient woodland (see images).

A pleasant valley to visit during the spring before the bracken takes over!
