The River Garnock at Dalgarven Mill, a mile north of Kilwinning. The river has powered a number of mills at this location for centuries. In the 1980s and 1990s the mill was renovated to become the Museum of Ayrshire Country Life & Costume, and has the only working mill waterwheel in Scotland.
