I am the Curator of Skelmorlie Secret Bunker museum/heritage site, south of Skelmorlie on the old Largs road but still within Muirshiel Country Park geographical area. The museum conducts guided tours to explain the role of the Royal Observer Corps from 1925-1995. This time period encompasses both the aircraft reporting role through WW2 and the nuclear reporting role through the Cold War when the UK faced a possible nuclear attack from the USSR.
