This is a digitised version of the 'General view of the agriculture of the County of Ayr' produced for the Board of Agriculture in 1793 by Colonel William Fullarton. Within the document is an account of the general agriculture practices that could be found across Ayrshire at the time, along with recommendations for "Improvement". It also contains remarks on the character of different "classes" of people and import figures of the ports of Irvine and Saltcoats.
